Two training days in presentation skills for different teams in this international company. Each member of each team was able to work on particular weaknesses and on challenging presentation situations, with video feedback.
Leashold Advisory Service UK
The service’s representatives were experiencing heckling and hostile audience reception from lobbying groups when delivering presentations in the organisation’s outreach programme. Positive Comedy trained them in handling these situations better and more confidently.
Sussex University Doctoral School
Positive Comedy ran several days of workshops with groups of high achieving doctoral students, supporting them in developing their confidence and skill in presentation and public speaking.

Leadership training for 12 senior management executives. This drew on the approaches used by stand-up comedians to develop their communication capabilities. It was hosted by Roffey Park international leadership institute
Oko’s MD wanted his staff to learn standup comedy in order to be able to use humour in making client interaction more compelling, and create deeper connections with clients. A one-day workshop was run at Komedia in Brighton, culminating in each delegate presenting their own standup comedy set, complete with stage, microphone, lighting and sound engineer.

Training in presentation skills for top financial and accounting executives of this £1 billion turnover aerospace company in Cambridge
Carousel helps learning disabled artists develop and manage their creative lives, challenging expectations of what great art is and who can create it. Gerry Thompson was facilitator for the 2016 roll-out of their ten-week comedy course. The course supported artists in creating their own original comedy material and performing it for radio. This programme was repeated in 2017

An improv based training session for developing communication skills and creativity, for the entire staff of this progressive and imaginative integrated digital marketing company
Self Managed Learning College
The college wanted classes in standup comedy for students. All ended up presenting their own standup spot in front of the group. They also had fun.
Brands2Life Creative Branding Agency
An off-site pre-Christmas awayday combining celebration, fun and learning about confident presentation, creativity and humour. This was a fast-moving and highly interactive event drawing on exercises widely used by comedians and improvisers. It culminated in on-stage performances by the Brands2Life teams.

A training day for the Finance Director and a recently re-structured team of six. They developed presentation skills for running financial governance and influencing business decisions for the whole of EDF UK

A Brighton awayday for six London executive teams. This was an interactive improvisation workshop followed by support for the teams to each devise and perform their own comedy presentation in a closing show
