A ten week project focused on enhancing the capabilities of two groups of disengaged pupils within the college's specialised Focus Unit. At the end of the 10 weeks, these students presented their own projects throughout the school on it;s annual 'Stop the World' day, for all1800 pupils.

Reading Gaol
A six week project with young prison inmates producing poems, rap and ballads which were then broadcast on BBC radio, chosen for Radio Four's Pick of the Week, and won the 2009 Prisoneractionnet Award, for excellence in work strengthening positive identity and belonging in prisoners and ex-offenders , first among 80 projects nationwide

Wessex and Brighton Youth Offending Teams
A long-term project in which young offenders workshopped their personal stories, and turned them into a DVD. These stories were then turned into a live interactive drama performed at several venues in the south as 'Leggsy Gets a Break' and broadcast on BBC Radio. This work won several Koestler awards.

East Sussex Youth Offending Team
Six week summer school using comedy, drama, improvisation and film to engage young people on ISSPs, using the problematic summer holidays to express themselves positively and creatively and work together to make a movie

Mediabox
Mentoring a young offender in writing his life story and publishing it as a book. This book won a Koestler award and became the basis of the 'Leggsy Gets a Break' radio broadcasts

Other one-to-one training sessions have included practising self presentation and speaking, preparing particular presentations, writing and developing comedy acts and scripts, making pitches, preparing for interviews or key meetings, adding humour to arts performances and generally building confidence, creativity and communicative ability
